I am sooooo exciting to be receiving my hand made samples! I have made some amazing friends along this journey so far, and some wonderful connections. While being submerged into this process, I happen to have a helper by my side. My little Kitler – and she really loves this Luscious Blanket. So soft and cozy for her to do her little ‘pat pat’ in right before she snuggles into the coziness of the blanket. My Kitler is an older cat and she is getting to the point where sometimes she can have an accident on her cat bed. Now I have something just for her – size (small) – is the perfect size for her. 100% waterproof pet blankets.
This is the Best Part… I’m not throwing out a cat bed every few weeks! Saving some $ is always a great thing! And She Loves it.

I sure do remember the days of potty training. Those were hard days. As a working mom, coming home, making meals, cleaning the home…I sure wish I had these to help me out during the days of potty training. Let’s face it, potty training is work.

What have we been up to?
Development – You would not believe this, but there are so many things to consider while creating the Best Quality product on the market. I have been going through so many samples of fabric and tweaking the final product to come up with our Luscious Linen. AND to ensure that this fabric is indeed 100% waterproof. We could run a fountain in the blanket for hours and there will be no seepage! (Hmmmm – a great idea for marketing)
There is a lot to consider while coming up with the final product. For instance, there is materials, texture, weight, size, colour, sound (yes sound – I don’t want to hear crinkles). This project has been waking up my senses; touch, visual, and sound. This has been exhilarating! My creative juices are flowing again. Excitement devours me, as we now go into production.

Final tweaks in Design
Well, what a month this has been. The countdown is becoming a reality. We have decided to start with two sizes, Small and Large, along with Two different colour patterns. One is Grey on White, the other Gold on Black.
The Small would be ideal for potty training kids or pets. Liquids absorb quickly, and can hold Gallons! This would also be a convenient travel size to take along with you for those specials occasions. They are so soft and plush you can even use them as a travel blanket to keep you nice and cozy during your travels as well.
The Large would be great for those who suffer with weak bladders at night, or even for those nights where us ladies have our periods. The large is also fabulous for those wild nights with your lover and where sex should get messy! 😉 The texture is so soft and luxurious on the skin. You can just let all inhibitions loose and not worry about getting your bedding wet or even stained.
I can not wait for this first shipment to come in. We are now just finalizing the paperwork. Stay tuned!

OK, Production is a on! We have Two sizes to start – 36×40 and 50×60. Both will come in two different colour tones. Grey/White and Black/Gold. Im sooooooo excited!
Next comes packaging and a shopping cart. Will be a busy weekend. This is the exciting part. Creation! This is where you face fear in the face. You either back down, and go with what feels comfortable, and do nothing…
OR
You face fear and walk through its’ shadows. Enter the abyss of the unknown. Not knowing what the outcome will be… not knowing if you will Succeed or Fail? Either way, it’s a Win; To face fear, and overcome – is a Win. To move forward and eliminate those ‘what if’ statements later in life – is a win. To grow and make the uncomfortable, your new comfortable – is a win. Success – is a Win. Failure – is a win because you learn from your mistakes.
Lord knows, I have made many mistakes and continue to do so. But throughout all my lessons, I can say, that my fight is back. I will fight to make this a success. I will fight through fear. I will fight to stand high, and know that I will do all that it takes to make this a success.
